Fire rated doors
Fire rated doors are critical—and a regulatory requirement in the National Construction Code— for safety in all residential apartment buildings.
Fire rated doors are purpose-designed to resist the spread of fire and smoke for a specific time, which is referred to as their fire resistance levels (FRL). The FRL indicates how long doors withstand fire under test conditions before losing integrity. Common FRLs include 30, 60, 90 and 120 minutes, depending on the level of protection required in different applications throughout a building.

MAXI Fire Rated Doors
Compliant to AS1530.4.2014 and AS1905.1.2015
The MAXI Fire Door range consists of doors with a 46mm nominal door thickness, with fire resistance levels (FRL) of up to 180 minutes, depending on product configuration.
The MAXI Fire Rated Doors range includes:
- Single Fire Door with FRL up to 120 minutes (select from 30, 90 or 120 minutes)
- Double/Paired Fire Door with FRL up to 120 minutes (select from 30, 60 or 120 minutes)
- Single Fire Door with FRL up to 180 minutes (select from 30, 60, 120, or 180 minutes)
Maximum sizes are available up to:
- 3000 High x 1220 Wide for MAXI Single Fire Doors
- 2700 High x 1220 Wide for MAXI Double Fire Doors
Our MAXI fire rated doors are equipped with metal reinforcing plates to accommodate all hardware locations (for example, up to four hinges, closer, lock, and firebolts where applicable) for long-term durability.
All MAXI Fire Doors include an innovative core, designed and tested to strictly conform to AS1905.1-2015, ensuring optimum protection while being free from asbestos and other inorganic fibres.
The range is available with Vision Panels. MAXI Fire Doors are available with Air Grilles. Fire Tags can also be provided upon order.

Mini HD (High-Density) Fire Doors
Compliant to AS1905.1-2005, AS1530.4-2014 and AS1905.1-2015
The MINI HD range consists of doors with a 36mm nominal door thickness, with fire resistance levels (FRL) up to 60 minutes. The high-density core results in a more stable door.
Maximum sizes are available up to:
- 2350 High x 1200 Wide for MINI Single Fire Doors
Our MINI HD Fire doors are equipped with metal reinforcing plates to accommodate to all hardware locations (i.e. up to 4 hinges, closer, lock, and firebolts where applicable) for long-term durability. All MINI HD Fire Doors include an innovative board core, designed and tested to strictly conform to AS1905.1-2015, ensuring optimum protection while being free from asbestos and other inorganic fibres.
The MINI HD range is available with Vision Panels. Fire Tags can also be provided upon order.
